Summertime as a kid was magical. It felt like freedom to me because I didn’t have to worry about homework. I rode bikes, climbed trees, threw water balloons at my sister, and swam almost every single day.

I remember when my neighborhood friend and I were too young to be able to go to the community pool by ourselves, you had to be accompanied by someone who was at least 14. Which is why we were so excited when my older sister turned 14 because then she could “legally” take us to the pool!

However, she never wanted to take us. How disappointing. (Thanks, Jessica)

This scent to me represents the feeling of being young, carefree and full of energy in the summertime. One of the things I remember the most was coming home after a long day at the pool, laying down and being so content with how exhausted I was from the day. And still, all I wanted to do was do it all over again the next day.

Want your candle to last longer with minimal soot? Make sure you trim the wick to 1/8"-1/4” before every single new burn (our wick trimmers are perfect for this!)

During the burning process, carbon builds up on the wicks. This is a normal process, however if you re-light a wick that has this carbon build up it can cause excess soot and heat. This yields a lower quality candle performance. (If you have ever noticed black smoke sticking to the sides of your glass candles in the past, this is why!)

Each Item is handmade by me in my small apartment in Murrieta, Ca. Because all of these items are handmade, they may have some imperfections such as: minor discoloration of the wax, slightly off-centered label, tiny markings on the outside of the jar, etc. None of these impact the quality of the candle. Please also be aware that some fragrances promote rusting of the inside of the candle tins (another normal scientific process).
